About the Role

We are hiring a Junior Solutions Engineer who is early in their career but already confident with Shopify fundamentals, technical troubleshooting, and client support.

You will help maintain exceptional service standards, support our delivery team, and independently own smaller technical requests from start to finish.

This role suits someone who enjoys debugging, learning new apps quickly, and becoming the person others rely on to solve problems.

It is especially well suited to someone connected to the wine industry who wants to move into a more technical, solutions driven path with structured mentorship, or a recent computer science graduate with a genuine interest in Shopify and wine commerce.

You will work directly under our Senior Solutions Manager and grow into increasing responsibility over time. This position is designed to build long term technical depth within our Northern California team.

  • Experience within Shopify and be able to troubleshoot Shopify and app issues in a structured, methodical way
  • Enjoy explaining technical systems to non technical teams
  • Want to develop deep expertise, not just complete assigned tasks
  • Care about long term relationships rather than clearing tickets

What You’ll Do

  • Respond to technical support requests and triage incoming issues
  • Investigate Shopify theme, app, and storefront problems, escalating when appropriate
  • Implement small Shopify changes including theme edits, settings updates, content adjustments, and basic Liquid tweaks
  • Support QA for launches, feature releases, and site updates
  • Assist with app installs, configuration, and troubleshooting, including tools such as Klaviyo, Rebuy, subscription platforms, and review apps
  • Write clear internal documentation so work is easy to follow and reference
  • Collaborate closely with designers, developers, and strategists to keep projects moving

  • Client issues are acknowledged quickly and progress smoothly
  • You can clearly distinguish between theme, app, and data related issues
  • Small fixes are delivered confidently, and larger issues are escalated with clear, useful context
  • Your ClickUp tickets are organized, thorough, and actionable
  • You become a dependable extension of the delivery team
